Elephant Mandala Hand Block Printed Cotton Tapestry – Aubergine & Marigold

Deep aubergine, ringed with marigold. A grand circular mandala turns at the centre – bands of processional elephants, peacocks and curling vines picked out in gold, coral and jade – while the ground beyond is covered edge to edge with a fine violet paisley.

Hand block printed onto 100% cotton by artisan printers in India. The layered inks are what give the wheel its shimmer against the dark ground.
