Lord Ganesha seated in blessing, holding a lotus and a bowl of modaks, with his little mouse waiting at his feet. The figure is drawn in confident black line over a batik ground of saffron, coral and rose – the crackled, marbled effect that only wax-resist dyeing gives.

A deep floral vine border and black binding frame the panel like a shrine painting. Hand dyed and printed in India on 100% cotton, so the batik veining is different on every piece.
