A seated Buddha in deep meditation, drawn in luminous rainbow linework against black cotton, haloed by a great fan of peacock-feather petals. The gradient runs from gold through coral to turquoise, so the whole figure seems lit from behind – quietly dramatic in a low-lit room.

Screen printed and hand dyed in India on lightweight 100% cotton. The colour is laid on by hand, so the sweep of the gradient varies subtly between pieces.
